Electronic Newsletters

Many organizations now keep in touch with their customers or patrons by sending them e-mails formatted to look like webpages. These can be sent at regular intervals, such as monthly, or as the need or cause arises, such as an event annoucement.

Electronic newsletters are usually less extensive than their paper counterparts. They might feature full articles about only a couple of topics or issues, or present teasers for many with links to the full stories on their website. They can carry your logo, typeface, and colors, so they are “branded” and immediately recognizable just as conventional paper mail is.

Your website can have a sign-up form for customers or patrons to subscribe to your electronic newsletter, and the e-mails themselves contain unsubscribe links for someone to be easily removed from the mailing list, should they so desire.
